Lucas joins Friedman Nemecek Long & Grant by way of Columbus, Ohio, where he started his legal career and honed his skills as a fierce advocate and seasoned trial attorney.
Since graduating from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2021, Lucas has dedicated his career to defending those accused of crimes. A deep understanding of the justice system and an ability to craft compelling defense strategies have earned Lucas an unassailable track record in defending his clients at all stages of the criminal process. Since beginning his career, Lucas has litigated dozens of jury trials to verdict, ranging in seriousness from OVI to Aggravated Murder.
Above all, Lucas recognizes that, while all cases are different, each and every criminal accusation can have profound, life-altering effects if it is not confronted by a zealous advocate. As such, Lucas treats every case with the same seriousness and attention to detail that have brought him success throughout his career.
In addition to his trial expertise, Lucas has experience serving clients in the appellate and post-conviction contexts, and has represented individuals in actions before professional boards, school disciplinary bodies, and administrative agencies. In serving these diverse functions, Lucas has distinguished himself as a potent legal writer, researcher, and oral advocate.
Lucas and his family are excited to join the Cleveland community. He looks forward to getting involved in the area’s numerous professional organizations and taking advantage of the public service opportunities afforded and encouraged by Friedman Nemecek Long & Grant.
