Burglary, Criminal Damaging & Aggravated Menacing

Client faced several years in prison after being indicted with Burglary, Criminal Damaging, and Aggravated Menacing. What appeared to be a routine claim and government prosecution, resulted in a case where forensic analysis led to an entirely different scenario. Specifically, forensic imaging analysis of digital video provided by the State, were examined with a particular focus on the accompanying metadata. After a meticulous re-creation of the evidence, defense counsel moved the government to reassess the case. After doing so, the client was fully exonerated.
