Minimal Sentence Imposed
The client was indicted on multiple counts of production of child pornography related to allegations that he had been communicating with – and receiving sexually explicit images and videos from – various minors. If convicted, the client faced the prospect of spending the rest of his life in prison. The client retained Friedman Nemecek Long & Grant, L.L.C. to represent him in the criminal proceedings. FNL attorneys negotiated a favorable plea to a single charge. At sentencing, defense counsel presented mitigating evidence and arguments that ultimately led to the Court imposing a sentence that was nearly ten (10) years below the recommended Guideline’s range.
