The client was involved in a motor vehicle accident wherein he struck an Amish buggy, resulting in the death of the other driver. The client was transported to a local hospital for a blood draw, which indicated that he had cocaine in his system at the time of the accident.

Client was arrested and charged with domestic violence against his ex-wife. Friedman, Nemecek, & Long immediately retained a private investigator to obtain information that would be helpful to the defense.

A former teacher’s aide was indicted on multiple counts of sexual assault following allegations that he had molested a student in the school bathroom. The client was indicted on numerous federal charges related to the production and sale of fake identification over the dark web beginning in or around 2010. At the time of his arrest, law enforcement officers seized over 500 Bitcoin from the client, which the Government alleged to be the proceeds of the illegal activities.
Conviction Overturned on Appeal
A local physician was indicted on multiple counts of rape based upon an alleged sexual assault involving a colleague. The client was convicted after a jury trial and sentenced to serve a significant term of imprisonment. In addition to the term of incarceration, the Ohio Board of Medicine revoked the client’s license.
All Counts Dismissed
The client was indicted with numerous child pornography offenses related to images found on electronic devices seized pursuant to a search warrant. After reviewing the pertinent discovery materials, Attorney Nemecek filed a Motion to Suppress all evidence seized in connection with the search warrant, arguing, inter alia, that the search warrant Affidavit failed to establish probable cause.
NO CHARGES
Friedman Nemecek Long & Grant was retained by a professional athlete after being accused of Rape by a woman while at the athlete’s home after meeting him at a nightclub that same evening. Called while police were still at the home, counsel began an immediate counter-investigation that undermined the claim against the client.
